I have been a furniture and custom cabinet builder for over 30 years. I have been featured in Log Home Living, The Wall Street Journal and Country Living Magazine to name a few. My interest in woodworking came at an early age. I grew up in Arkansas where I met and married my wife. We moved to Texas after we were married as young teenagers. I was able to get a job in one of the local cabinet shops and started sweeping floors until I was able to learn the use of the machines. I started building cabinets that were mass-produced and I feel that that experience has given me the ability to appreciate a work of art. In a time where old joinery skills have all but disappeared, I have dedicated my life to mastering traditional methods of woodworking. While it is true that a picture is worth a thousand words and I have done my best to show and give you a very close idea of what I do, you will only truly enjoy your furniture when you are able to touch, see and feel your new heirloom. There are many fine wood craftsmen, but very few of us go the extra mile to create a truly exceptional piece. The saying that it takes 90% of the time to accomplish the last 10% of the work could not be truer in my furniture. I hope that once you see and feel one of my pieces for yourself that you will take as much pride in the piece as I did when I built it. My passion for woodworking is shown in each piece that I build, I carefully select quality woods that bring to life old methods of joinery such as mortise and tennon joints, dovetails, spline-joints and dado joints just to name a few. I sign, number and date each piece. I look forward to working with you to create your next heirloom.
